We are thinking of running some retirement planning seminars and wondered if you would be interested in attending one.

Cotswolds

The seminars would be residential and held over a weekend. The location is likely to be a hotel in the Cotswolds. The plan is for delegates to arrive on Friday evening and depart after lunch on Sunday.

Topics covered would be wide ranging but would cover practical planning aspects to help you make your retirement the best it can be.

Lin Ashurst, author of Talking About Retirement, would lead the seminars but there would be guest speakers covering topics such as will writing, inheritance tax planning, investing for income etc – and we’ll throw in some fun stuff too such as a champagne tasting!

"I now do things because I want to, not because other people want me to. I think the really good thing about retirement is that suddenly you’re just doing it for yourself and that’s a real big plus."
MS (age 58)

"Retirement? It’s wonderful! I thought it was going to be good but it’s even better than I imagined."
CM (age 71)

"It doesn’t matter how many people tell you that they are busy all the time in retirement you don’t really understand what they do until you retire yourself. And we are retired and, in that sense, it’s the nicer times now, but we’re still busy people."
